Community Hero, Saves Lives

Sutter Cemetary groundsman, Barada Moncravie was  doing maintainence in the area of the cemetery when he noticed smoke coming from the attic vents of Naomi Claspill's home. Knowing that Naomi may be in trouble, Barada ran across the street to the smoking home while calling 911.

Barada used his shoulder to break open a locked door as he could hear Naomi's calls for help.  He was able to find her in the kitchen with her little dog "Pookie" and guided her out of the house, out the back where he had to kick down a locked chain link gate to get them both out safely.
